SurfAir Hotel Resort, Marcoola

Originally consisting of one seven storey tower, a pub and conference facility on the ground floor, DM2 Architecture were commissioned to undertake a full redevelopment of the SurfAir Hotel Resort.

The redevelopment included retaining and refurbishing the existing tower with 80 hotel rooms and the demolition of all of ground floor facilities. This demolition provide a clean slate for the construction of two large basement car parks, ground floor tavern, restaurant, café, conference rooms, retail spaces, reception, arrivals and hotel management areas.

New accommodation consisted of two seven storey towers featuring a combination of one to three bedroom units, six luxury beach houses, as well together with swimming pools and landscaped grounds.
