McDonald's Kenmore

Projects / Hospitality and Retail

To produce a visual change to the existing building a yellow boxed monument wall was added to the corner of the building. The playland received a new, high shade structure and the terrace was enclosed with a louvered wall which helped to block noise created by the busy main road, while still letting in natural ventilation and light. Internally the dining room and service counters were upgraded.

Décor

A timber batten screen wrapped from a banquette seat onto the ceiling which helped to fashion a McCafe seating niche within the modest dining space. Blonde and dark timber finishes created warmth and interest, while splashes of McDonalds Yellow were used strategically to enliven the décor.
